Florian Angot

A career at the highest level of competition

Born in 1973 in the world of horses, Florian Angot belongs to a family of breeders and high level riders. It is thus early that he takes his first steps on horseback.

And very quickly, we find him on the national and international podiums. He brilliantly climbed all the levels of show jumping to become French number 1 on the National Computer List.

He was part of the French team at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens.

He moved to his stables in Le Tronquay, Normandy, with his family in 2013.

The Four horses that have marked his career :

Narcos II with which Florian won the title of European Junior Champion in Bourg en Bresse, but also the Bronze Medal in the team competition in 1991, not to mention the 20 victories in national and international competitions throughout the season. With this great stallion, he will also win the Bronze medal by team at the European Championship for young riders in San Remo in 1992, but also numerous victories and rankings in the senior category.

The splendid Ulior des Isles will take over from Narcos who has left to assume his duties as a stallion. And there again, victories and rankings will follow one another between 1996 and 2000, years during which Florian will perfectly get used to the highest level. He won the Grand Prix of Le Mans, Villedieu les Poëles, Rennes, Cabourg, the International Master of Jardy, but also the International Derby of Dinard.

First de Launay, star stallion of the Haras de St Lô, was entrusted to Florian in 2001. With this son of Laudanum, the Norman rider has undoubtedly passed a milestone in his progression and in the management of his horses’ careers. After numerous victories in national competitions throughout the years 2001 & 2002: there were no less than nine! Florian, under the guidance of Jean Maurice Bonneau, national trainer of the French show jumping team who believes in this couple, will join the teams representing France abroad. And it’s a first victory in the very high level International Competition of Madrid. They followed this up with a very good 4th place at the French Championships, which put the couple definitively on the list of those selected for the European Championships, the Olympic Games and the World Championships. A meteoric rise during all these years. It would take too long to list the sumptuous victories and places of honor they have won!

Winner in GP CSI4*, Made In Semilly has had a brilliant long and regular sporting career, ranked for almost 10 years at international level.

The best son of Allegreto, whose mother is the sister of the stallion Flamenco de Semilly, Made in Semilly has proved to be an excellent producer, combining the boundless energy of his father with the serenity, solidity, respect and technique of Le Tot de Semilly.
